Job summary

Slaughter and May is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager for the Global Sponsors Group within its Corporate practice. You will collaborate with partners, knowledge lawyers and the Global Client Development team to drive growth and win new mandates.

You will lead strategic BD initiatives, develop targeted market strategies, and nurture relationships with sponsors and fund managers to expand the firm’s private capital footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of business development experience in professional services.
• Strong understanding of the private equity and private capital space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BD and marketing strategies for the Global Sponsors Group.
• Strengthen client relationships and cross-sell opportunities.
• Spot opportunities to win new mandates and pitches.
• Lead pitches, proposals and client presentations.
• Coordinate client development programmes and events.
• Conduct market research on private equity trends.
