Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd is seeking a New Business Sales Agent for a hybrid role based in Liskeard with home-based days. The position handles both inbound and outbound calls to promote broadband services across Cornwall and Devon.

The role is 37.5 hours per week on a temporary to permanent contract, with three in-office days and remote work on other days. Progression to permanent is possible after probation.

New Business Sales Agent

Location: Hybrid - Liskeard and home-based
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to permanent

We are looking for an experienced Telephone Sales Agent to join a growing team, handling inbound enquiries and outbound sales calls to promote broadband services across Cornwall and Devon.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries and make outbound sales calls.
• Manage warm and cold leads, converting opportunities into sales.
• Build rapport with customers and confidently explain broadband products.
• Handle objections and work towards sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.

About You

• Previous telephone sales experience, ideally within telecommunications.
• Confident communicator with strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven, organised and commercially aware.
• Comfortable using digital systems and CRM software.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Working Arrangements

• Three days per week in the Liskeard office (Tuesday-Thursday) - essential.
• Remaining working days from home.
• Rotational shifts between 9am and 7pm.
• Later shifts can be worked from home.
• A suitable home-working environment is essential.
• Full-time only; part-time applications cannot be considered.

Salary and Contract

• £26,227 per annum after first 3 months
• Initial three-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
• Start date to be confirmed.
