This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, mainly in healthcare and pharma, to deliver a range of events and experiences. They organize large congresses for thousands and meetings for hundreds, with complex logistics, worldwide destinations, and a growing global presence. They are expanding and hiring a New Business Development Director to support their growth strategy.
The role
This highly autonomous yet collaborative role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. Responsibilities include lead generation, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting to clients, responding to RFPs, leading pitches, and securing contracts. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders, preparing winning pitch responses, and attending events to engage new contacts.
About you
A proven background in new business development within the events, exhibitions, or production industry is essential. Experience in pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events/communications sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. You should have experience managing the full sales cycle, networking at industry events, and successfully securing new business for an agency.
