Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) (VWFS UK) is seeking a capable customer-focused advisor to process finance documents for dealer submissions. You will validate details, authorise payouts and liaise with multiple business areas to ensure swift, accurate responses.

Experience in customer service, data handling, and a working knowledge of data protection and consumer credit acts is valued. Flexible working patterns including evenings and weekends may be required.

• Enter and process customer and dealer data in internal systems.

Job description

• Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly by phone.
• Entering / handling customer and dealer data via internal systems that processing procedures and response time guidelines are followed, with speed and accuracy being paramount.
• Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
• Close liaison with other business areas including Customer Services.
• Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfil your role

This role is responsible for processing appropriate documents for finance submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers/Retailers - verifying details and ensuring speedy pay out to our dealers. Advisors must possess a keen desire to ensure that dealer applications and queries, either over the phone or through correspondence, are dealt with quickly and efficiently. With key products and services aligned to some of the leading brands in the motor industry, our aim is to ensure second to none service levels and effective communications linked to timely and effective action.

• Full PC literacy essential
• Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities
• Previous customer service centre, call centre or finance company experience is desirable
• An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable
• Strong customer service focus essential and a customer friendly manner at all times
• Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes
• Able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines, and to work a flexible working pattern incl. evenings and weekends plus some Bank Holidays
