About the Role

This role will be based at Asda House and our Rochdale office. We are seeking an Accounts and New Business Acquisition Manager responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with third-party and internal clients for Asda’s parcel services. The role involves developing solutions aligned with customer needs to drive growth, analyzing market trends, negotiating deals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and alignment with company goals. You will analyze client volumes, performance, and SLAs, and lead new parcel development projects to enhance customer experience and business strategy.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify client opportunities suitable for our parcel solutions.
  2. Secure new business opportunities alongside the Commercial team.
  3. Collaborate with Tech teams to onboard and integrate new clients.
  4. Develop account plans to increase volumes and meet targets.
  5. Monitor volumes and performance metrics, ensuring contractual standards are met.
  6. Coordinate with Service and Operational teams to improve customer service.
  7. Plan volumes in accordance with client and business needs.
  8. Manage pricing and commercial decisions within the client portfolio.
  9. Lead development projects and cross-functional initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
Additional Information

Asda offers a flexible hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with additional days as needed for visiting suppliers, stores, or depots.
