Watkin Jones PLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead first-class student accommodation and build-to-rent schemes across the UK. You will work with the Construction Director, clients, and project team to ensure safe, timely delivery to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4, HND, or Degree in construction or PM, with a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software is required.

Watkin Jones is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team and deliver first-class student accommodation and build-to-rent schemes.

With a national presence, we are looking for a flexible and committed Project Manager who is willing to support on schemes across the UK.

As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of these prestigious projects. Working closely with the Construction Director, clients, and the wider project team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating daily site operations and subcontractor performance
• Supporting programme management, design coordination, and project planning activities
• Managing project risks, reporting requirements, and key documentation
• Ensuring exceptional standards of health & safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Building strong and effective relationships with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders

About you:

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4, HND, or Degree in a construction, development, or project management-related subject. A CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are essential, while additional certifications such as health and safety training or a First Aid certificate are also advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of the build sequence, best practices in construction project management, and current trends within the sector. Familiarity with contract law is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and programming software is essential, supporting effective communication, planning, and project delivery.
