Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer seeking a professional and enthusiastic New & Used Car Sales Executive to join their established team based in Harold Wood.

About the role:

As a Sales Executive, you'll be the key contact throughout the customer's car-buying journey - delivering exceptional service, understanding individual needs, and helping customers find the right vehicle. You'll thrive in a busy showroom environment and enjoy building relationships that turn first-time visitors into long-term customers.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends) from 8:30am to 6:00pm.



Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and engaging customers, both in the showroom and digitally
  • Listening and identifying needs to recommend suitable vehicle options
  • Conducting test drives and explaining product features and benefits
  • Guiding customers through finance, insurance, and part-exchange processes
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Staying up to date with new vehicle launches, offers, and promotions
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance


What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative selling style with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to work flexibly including weekends
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and goal-driven

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Automotive sales experience
  • Familiarity with car finance and insurance processes
