Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree or equivalent senior operational qualification.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in management.
• Desirable: MSc/MBA or NHS Leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of Neurosurgery.
• Deliver performance across RTT, Cancer Standards, diagnostics and waiting lists.
• Oversee theatres, capacity, scheduling and bookings to optimise utilisation.
• Write business cases and project-manage them through delivery.
• Line-manage admin and scheduling teams; support workforce planning and governance.
