Job summary

Newcastle University is seeking an organised administrator to join the neuromuscular disease registries team at the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre. You will manage database systems, handle mailbox queries, support data curation, and assist project managers with communications and meetings.

The role involves collaboration with patient groups, clinicians, and industry partners, with opportunities for external collaboration and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing databases and quality checks.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data protection regulation and GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor registry mailboxes and respond to patient queries.
• Perform data curation and quality checks on patient data.
• Provide admin support to Project Managers; manage newsletters, social media posts, and website updates.
• Communicate with patient organisations, clinicians and industry to promote registry engagement.
• Contribute to registry team meetings and collaborate across the JWMDRC.
