Newcastle University invites applications for an accomplished Senior Information Systems and Data Manager to lead data management and information systems across the Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). You will supervise the Data Management Team, ensure data accuracy, security and governance, and collaborate with investigators, biostatisticians, and NHS partners to drive digital innovation.

• Experience leading data management teams in clinical trials.
• Strong knowledge of information governance and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NHS data).
• Proven ability to design and implement data management systems and processes.

• Act as Information Governance Lead for hosting sensitive NHS data.
• Oversee data management systems design and regulatory compliance.
• Represent NCTU nationally and engage with networks to promote best practice.
• Travel nationally to support trial activities as needed.
