Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Birkenhead is seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist (Neurology) for the Neurology Therapy services at Arrowe Park Hospital. Qualifications

• HCPC registration required
• At least 4 years post-graduate experience in complex neurological rehabilitation
• Experience leading a team of therapists and supporting staff

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and rehabilitation for Arrowe Park Hospital patients with complex neurology needs
• Hold a complex clinical caseload and conduct specialist assessments and discharge planning
• Lead the Occupational Therapy team on a daily basis and drive service development
• Train and develop physio staff, students and other staff groups in the specialty
• Engage in evidence-based practice, audits and service improvement activities
• Contribute to 7-day service delivery as required
