Job summary

Badby Park in Daventry is seeking a Therapy Assistant to provide support in therapeutic and rehabilitation pathways for residents with neurological or mental health conditions. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver planned therapy and promote recovery, independence, and daily living skills.

Under supervision you will assist with individual and group activities, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in care/therapy environment preferred.
• Ability to complete in-service training and develop techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn quickly.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understand confidentiality and its implications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapeutic interventions in one-to-one and group settings.
• Create one-to-one rapport to increase engagement and independence.
• Support therapists in delivering planned therapy programmes.
• Observe, report and record sessions and adjust care plans under supervision.
• Assist with evaluating service provisions and activities.
