Job summary

PJ Care’s Mallard House in Milton Keynes seeks a Registered Manager to lead a 54-bed neurological care centre. You will ensure high-quality, person-centered care while managing budgets, teams and regulatory compliance across two units.

You will work with nursing, therapy and estates colleagues to sustain performance and drive service development, with a strong focus on safeguarding and inspections.

Qualifications

• Current NMC or HCPC registration and prior experience as a Registered Manager.
• At least five years in the care sector with a relevant resident group and three years of team management.
• Experience in specialist neurological care, neurorehabilitation or similar complex care services.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for care quality, people, regulatory compliance and financial performance.
• Lead the management team and work with nursing, therapy, catering and estates colleagues.
• Ensure person-centred care is reflected in daily practice and maintain readiness for inspection.
• Oversee safeguarding, risk management, audits and service standards.
