Job summary

The University of Nottingham invites applications for a two-year, full-time post-doctoral researcher position in the Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre. You will work on neuroimaging approaches that sensitize MRI to cell types in rodent brains, integrating 3D light-sheet microscopy, spatial transcriptomics and MRI.

Under Prof. Stam Sotiropoulos, you will perform data integration and biophysical modelling on multi-modal datasets and help address image-processing challenges in whole-brain

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant computational domain is required or near completion.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Matlab and experience in scientific computing.
• Experience with multimodal imaging or microscopy data processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work on data integration and biophysical modelling of multi-modal datasets from rodent MRI, light-sheet microscopy and related modalities.
• Address image processing challenges in whole-brain 3D light-sheet microscopy data and contribute to software tooling.
