NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join the North Neurodevelopmental Team, covering North Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. You will undertake specialist assessments, contribute to diagnostic pathways and develop person-centred care plans for children and young people.

You will work within Community Paediatrics, CAMHS and partner agencies, supporting families, education staff and health professionals, with a focus on early intervention,

Qualifications

• Registered Allied Health Professional, Nurse or Psychologist with current registration.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with neurodevelopmental differences in children and young people.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis and person-centred care approaches.

Responsabilités

• Undertake specialist neurodevelopmental assessments and contribute to diagnostic pathways for children and young people.
• Develop, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide post-diagnostic support, advice and consultation to children, families, education staff and partner agencies.
• Collaborate across Community Paediatrics, CAMHS, Education, Social Work and third-sector organisations.
• Coordinate care and manage a defined caseload, prioritising clinical activity to meet individual needs.
• Act as a source of expertise on neurodevelopmental differences and promote best practice.
