Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Support Worker in Leeds to provide compassionate, person-centred care at Osman House, Scholes. You will assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, and engagement in rehab activities under individual plans tailored to each person’s goals.

Training is provided; the role supports independence, teamwork, and community integration while offering a rewarding path in neurorehabilitation. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Empathy and resilience to support residents through rehabilitation.
• Teamwork and ability to work well with colleagues.
• Excellent face-to-face communication and good literacy.
• Strong time management and workload prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team to deliver quality services.
• Support daily routines including personal care and hygiene.
• Contribute to service user support plans and records.
• Implement plans and flag issues to the Team Leader.
