Inspire Neurocare is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to work within a neuro-rehabilitation team, assessing and treating adults with complex neurological conditions, including stroke and brain injury. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care across settings and support families and carers.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional development, and safeguarding, with a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy required or equivalent.
• HCPC registration must be current.
• Experience with adults with neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury, CP, neurodegenerative diseases).
• Experience using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose, and manage adults with communication, cognitive-communication, and/or swallowing disorders due to neurological conditions.
• Develop and evaluate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with service users and MDT.
• Deliver therapy across inpatient, outpatient, community and home-settings as appropriate.
• Contribute to goal setting, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary discussions.
