Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a neurology and complex care team in Kent. You will assess, plan, and deliver personalised therapy to promote independence and daily functioning.

Requirements include HCPC registration and a BSc (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy, with at least 2 years in neurology or complex care. Flexible hours, pension, free parking, and discounted meals are on offer.

Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required.
• HCPC registration with evidence of CPD is required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in neurology and complex care.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans and evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adapt therapy plans based on progress.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to support independence.
• Manage a caseload with supervision from the Lead OT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community services.
