Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist for the Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at Langley House, Watford. You’ll join a supportive team delivering neuro rehabilitation, stroke care and independence training for adults aged 18+.

The role includes weekend rotas and access to CLCH Academy for CPD. You will work within an integrated MDT, contribute to care plans, and develop clinical and leadership skills while providing high-quality community and

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio and participation in appraisal schemes.
• Experience in adult neuro rehab settings and stroke care knowledge.
• Ability to supervise juniors and teach students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Quality Care: Support patients with neuro conditions, including stroke, to enhance independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to implement integrated care plans.
• Professional Development: Engage with CLCH Academy programs for CPD, skill enhancement and clinical academic opportunities.
• Mentorship & Team Support: Share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to continuous learning within the team.
• Community Visits: Provide care in the community as required. Car access is essential unless exempt under the Equality Act 2010, with appropriate insurance and documentation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and reports in line with professional and organisational standards.
