Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist for an 8-month fixed-term post at the Holywell Rehabilitation Unit in Watford. The role involves managing an own caseload, triaging referrals, and treating stroke and neurological patients within an inpatient neuro rehab unit and community duties.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, have access to supervision and training, and participate in a 7-day service rota.

Qualifications

• Registered UK HCPC with a physiotherapist degree.
• CPD evidence and specialist training in neuro rehab.
• ACPIN membership is desirable.
• Experience in stroke/neurology rehab and multisite discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat neurological patients to plan individualised treatments.
• Work in multidisciplinary team to support safe discharge and rehab.
• Contribute to reducing length of stay with proactive planning.
• Provide supervision to Band 5 staff and students.
