Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in the UK is seeking an experienced infrastructure specialist to own and optimise the day-to-day operation and long-term capacity planning of our fixed network test lab. You will work with internal customers to ensure space, power, cooling and environmental readiness to support current and future needs.

You will analyse trends, forecast demand and produce KPI reporting to guide investment and growth, while designing scalable, resilient lab solutions aligned with business

Qualifications

• Strong experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure or technical lab environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure capacity including power, cooling and environmental systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power, battery technologies and their telecom/data centre application.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions balancing cost and performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day operation and long-term capacity planning of fixed network test lab infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure space, power, cooling and environmental needs are met.
• Analyse trends, forecast demand, identify capacity risks and produce KPI reporting.
• Design lab infrastructure solutions that are scalable, resilient and aligned with business goals.
• Oversee installation activities and quality assurance for MAC moves, adds and changes.
• Act as central escalation point for lab-related issues and coordinate rapid resolutions.
