Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a Test Lab Manager to oversee Fixed Network Test Labs in Bracknell and Watford, driving operational excellence and capacity planning.

You will lead design and delivery of scalable lab environments, coordinating with internal teams to support future connectivity services. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced telecoms setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or technical lab environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Proven ability to manage infrastructure capacity, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and long-term capacity planning of fixed network test labs.
• Collaborate with internal customers to meet technical requirements for space, power, cooling, and environment.
• Forecast demand, identify capacity risks, and produce KPI reporting to guide investment.
• Design scalable, resilient lab infrastructure aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) and ensure high-quality infrastructure management.
• Coordinate issue escalation and ensure timely resolution across lab environments.
