Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a Network Infrastructure and Telephony Engineer to design, implement and secure extensive WAN/LAN networks for clients. You will collaborate with engineers and report to the Head of Operations, delivering robust networking and Cisco Unified Communications support in a hybrid on-site and remote setup.

Key responsibilities include configuring core devices, handling complex faults, and guiding service-desk teams.

Qualifications

Strong IP networking knowledge across WAN/LAN.
Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity.
Familiarity with security appliances and firewalls.
Experience in ISP/MSP/service desk environments is a plus.
Professional English communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and secure WAN/LAN networks for clients.
Provide expert support to service desks for complex faults.
Configure and troubleshoot core network devices and security gear.
Handle change requests per ITIL processes with proper docs.
Maintain IP address and VLAN management; assist data centers on-site.
Support Cisco Call Manager, Unity, CUBE and SIP endpoints.
Participate in customer calls and project delivery; occasional after-hours work.
