Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Enterprise Network Architect to design, implement, and support resilient networks underpinning critical services. You will build, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions and monitor performance to prevent outages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale enterprise network solutions.

• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Cisco Firepower/ASA.
• Experience designing SDN and network automation solutions (highly valued).
• Exposure to hybrid and cloud environments (VMware, AWS) (highly valued).

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale enterprise network solutions
• Deep technical expertise across routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
• Experience troubleshooting complex network environments
• Expertise in Cisco ACI, Nexus switching platforms, and Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls
• Experience designing and implementing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation solutions (highly valued)
• Hands‑on experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers and application delivery technologies (highly valued)
• Exposure to hybrid and cloud environments, including VMware, AWS, or other public cloud networking platforms (highly valued)
• Capability in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job‑specific technical skills
• Willingness to work in Knutsford or Glasgow
