About the Role
Lead and manage the Network Services team, covering voice, data and perimeter security services including all day to day operational and technical aspects and strategic ownership. Provide technical and operational leadership in the planning, design, implementation and performance of converged network infrastructure to support voice, data and unified communications. Minimise our exposure and risk on Communications and Network failure and disasters through implementation of high availability, resilient solutions, disaster recovery, planning, implementing, testing and readiness. A point of escalation for junior colleagues, and an opportunity to remain ‘hands-on’ for complex project delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Excellent communication skills – Verbal/Written
· Industry standard qualifications or certifications - Cisco or Extreme Networks preferred.
· Experience in managing corporate communications and network infrastructures in large, complex, multi-site organisations.
The role requires you to participate in an on call rota.
