Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom, supporting our largest and most technically sophisticated customers across OSI layers 3–7. You will resolve complex security and networking issues, collaborate with Engineering and Operations, and help improve our products and tooling.

The role requires fluent English, at least 3 years in technical support, strong knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, and experience with web servers and scripting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Technical Support solving complex issues.
• Experience with command line tools: curl, dig, traceroute, openssl, git.
• Networking fundamentals incl. iptables, BGP, GRE, DNS, TLS, HTTP; OSI model.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and social media.
• Diagnose and resolve customer network and security issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to mitigate incidents.
• Escalate complex problems and document resolutions.
