Job summary

People First is hiring a Network & Security Engineer in London to design, implement and support enterprise networking, security, and cloud connectivity solutions. The role involves architecture collaboration, customer consultations and delivering LAN, Wireless, Cloud and Security projects from scoping through deployment.

Key requirements include CCNA/CCNP certifications and experience with SD-WAN, SASE/ZTNA, and cloud networking.

Qualifications

Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications or equivalent are required.
Proficient in enterprise networking, security and cloud connectivity.
Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA and cloud platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and support enterprise network, security and cloud connectivity solutions.
Participate in solution architecture, design workshops and customer consultations.
Deliver LAN, Wireless, Cloud and Security projects from scoping through deployment.
Produce high-quality documentation including HLDs, LLDs, procedures and test plans.
Perform PoC testing and evaluations of new technologies.
Troubleshoot complex network, security and cloud incidents.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for managed environments.
Support deployment and optimization of SASE and SD-WAN.
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver customer solutions.
Identify opportunities for service improvements and automation.
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues.
Participate in on-call rota as required.
