Key Responsibilities
  • Extensive networking knowledge with demonstrable expertise in Wi‑Fi, LAN, and associated network services, including configuration, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead network discovery, assessment and requirements-gathering workshops with clients.
  • Design enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and network security solutions for greenfield and existing environments.
  • Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low‑Level Designs (LLDs), network topology diagrams and implementation documentation.
  • Perform network capacity planning, resilience assessments and technology roadmapping.
  • Develop network migration and transformation strategies with minimal operational disruption.
  • Design wireless solutions using predictive and on‑site survey methodologies, including Ekahau and equivalent platforms.
  • Create Bills of Materials (BoMs), statements of work and technical proposals for customer projects.
  • Provide technical governance and design assurance throughout implementation phases.
  • Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend solutions that improve scalability, performance, security and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, delivery engineers and third‑party vendors to ensure successful solution deployment.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer engagements, workshops and pre‑sales activities.
Key Requirements
Essential
  • Extensive experience designing enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN and Wireless infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VRRP, STP and network segmentation principles.
  • Experience designing secure network architectures including firewalls, VPNs, NAC and network access controls.
  • Proven experience producing professional design documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans and technical recommendations.
  • Experience conducting network audits, health checks and infrastructure assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise wireless technologies and hands‑on experience performing Ekahau (or equivalent) Wi‑Fi surveys, predictive modelling and reporting.
  • Experience creating technical proposals, solution designs and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and resilient technical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and consultancy skills.
Desirable
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, HPE, RUCKUS or Juniper networking solutions.
  • Knowledge of SD‑WAN, SASE and cloud networking architectures.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud connectivity design.
  • Experience working within hospitality, retail, healthcare or multi‑site enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of network automation and infrastructure‑as‑code principles.
