We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Environmental Performance Team as a Network Protection Investigator. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team. You’ll be at the heart of making our networks cleaner and safer, helping customers, communities, and the environment thrive. This role covers the Beddington and Hogsmill area.

• This is a Monday to Friday position (36 hours) with some evening visits required; however, it is also a flexible role where working hours can be accommodated.

What will you be doing as a Network Protection Investigator?

• Working with customers to reduce blockages, sewage flooding, and pollution; protecting our network, customers, and the environment.
• Being the sole worker for your area.
• Supporting and educating customers in grease management and waste disposal.
• Visiting and engaging with customers daily on best kitchen practices to prevent 'Fatbergs'.

What should you bring to the role?

• Experience in managing diverse customer relationships.
• Confident and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Teamwork skills to collaborate and support colleagues remotely.
• Proficiency with Android Smartphones and basic MS Office knowledge (training provided).
• Desirable: knowledge of sewer networks (training provided).
• A clean driving license is essential, as the role involves travel across regions with a company vehicle provided.
