HSE’s network is currently operating at less-than-optimal performance, which is believed to be caused by inadequate network capacity to meet the constantly evolving needs of the business. Following initiatives such as moving to a wireless-only solution across our estates, and the removal of old virtual desktops, our network performance has been impacted, but we lack the appropriate metrics to quantify this impact.
HSE is seeking a network engineer/architect with the necessary tools to review the current network state and provide reporting and documentation on how to proceed with optimization.
Resource needed:
HSE requires a network engineer/architect to support our Network Performance Monitoring & Improvement. The work is needed in the week commencing 28th April 2025. The supplier should advise on the timeframe. This work can be delivered remotely, but visits to Redgrave Court, Bootle, and Buxton are required.
