Job Description:

Join Telent's Engineering Team as a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technician. You'll support the NOC engineering team by managing incident tickets, coordinating traffic management, liaising with customers and utility companies, and working within a 24/7 shift rota to ensure the nation's critical infrastructure remains connected and protected.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create and manage network incident tickets.
  3. Action Service Requests and allocate tickets.
  4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  5. Coordinate traffic management and liaise with relevant parties.
  6. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  7. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise across different levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
