This large trust has future expansion plans, making it an exciting opportunity for professional growth. The role is based at a North Manchester secondary school, with responsibilities also spanning three local primary schools. You will be an integral part of the established IT team, led by a proactive IT Director who collaborates across the trust.

Your new role

Reporting to the IT Director, you will oversee all IT infrastructure and services across your cluster, including managing the IT team on-site. Your responsibilities include hardware, software, bespoke technologies, and IT project planning and delivery. You will work with two IT technicians to ensure efficient IT services, respond to technical requests, and resolve issues promptly. Operationally, you will conduct monthly reviews, manage performance, and develop team members. Additionally, you will handle the IT budget and coordinate with third-party suppliers for procurement.
