Job Title: Network Manager

We are a leading managed IT service provider in the education sector, seeking a Network Manager to support IT within a partner school in the Wimbledon area.

This is an exciting opportunity to join CTS, a company committed to engineering excellence. The Network Manager plays a crucial role within our partner school and is key to the success of our Managed IT services.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting substantial infrastructures and networks using Microsoft technologies. You will work daily in an educational environment with a team of dedicated professionals, receiving support from experienced senior engineers remotely or through planned site visits. This role offers opportunities for career advancement within the education sector, involving administration and troubleshooting in a predominantly Microsoft environment.

You will manage the day-to-day helpdesk operations and provide first and second-line support, working directly with the customer, so hands-on experience is essential.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the service desk and resolving 1st-2nd line support calls, ensuring proper follow-up by your team
• Supporting and maintaining the school's/college's infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime
• Communicating issues to Senior Engineers and the CTS Helpdesk team for escalation when necessary
• Collaborating with your Account Manager and Senior Engineer on infrastructure projects
• Acting as the primary interface between the client and CTS, representing the company within the school
• Managing your team's workload to optimize performance

Requirements:

• Experience supporting IT in a controlled environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server Skills, AD, DNS, DHCP
• Access to highly qualified senior engineers trained in Microsoft technologies
• Ability to work autonomously in a relaxed environment with support available as needed
• Potential to apply for Microsoft Training Vouchers after one year
• A team-oriented attitude with a passion for IT and service excellence
• Possession of an enhanced DBS disclosure (cost covered by employer)
