• Experience in an IT service desk or network support role.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
• Clear communicator with methodical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide network support, troubleshooting, and implementation support within Cisco environments.
• Triaging and resolving customer incidents within defined SLAs.
• Build understanding of each customer's network to enable faster fault diagnosis.
• Communicate regularly with customers to update on case progress.
• Follow escalation processes with clear notes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge articles, processes, and tooling used to deliver the service.
• Identify recurring issues and feed them into problem management and service improvement.

Working Pattern: 5 days per week on site

We are looking to add a DV Cleared Network Engineer/Technology Consultant to our team in Farnborough who deliver a secure network support service.

You will be supporting complex network environments in highly regulated industries, serving as the first point of contact to customer incidents, covering a breadth of networking technology stacks, and owning cases from inception through to resolution.

This role would suit someone who enjoys network troubleshooting, communicates well with both technical and non-technical audiences, and wants to further develop their career in networking. You'll work alongside an experienced team of network engineers at a growing IT consultancy.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Providing network support, troubleshooting, and implementation support within Cisco networking environments.
• Triaging and resolving cases raised by customers within defined SLAs.
• Building an understanding of each customer's network environment to enable faster, more accurate fault diagnosis.
• Communicating regularly with customers to keep them updated on case progress.
• Following escalation processes where appropriate, with clear and well-documented notes/updates.
• Maintaining and improving knowledge articles, processes and procedures, and the tooling used to deliver the service.
• Identifying recurring issues and feeding them into problem management and service improvement.

Key Experience Required

• Active DV clearance.
• Able to work on site in Farnborough, 5 days per week.
• Strong Cisco networking skills, evidenced by CCNA/CCNP or equivalent hands-on experience.
