Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Stevenage is seeking a Networking and IT Engineer for Proving and Integration (Missiles). You will design secure networks, configure trials IT gear and lead network architecture across multi‑domain environments.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on networking experience in defence or secure settings, familiarity with Windows/Linux, firewall and VPN skills, and a practical approach to keeping trials environments compliant and resilient. British Citizen required for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence, aerospace or secure engineering environments.
• Hands-on networking and IT fleet management for trials environments.
• Understanding of cyber security methodologies.
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Design secure closed networks for proving, validation and integration.
• Build and configure trials IT equipment across multiple OS/hardware.
• Lead network architecture for proving systems across multi‑domain environments.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues in integrated rigs.
• Implement monitoring and fault‑recovery for high‑assurance test environments.
• Ensure compliance with IM, security and accreditation standards.
• Drive documentation and processes improvements for proving methodologies.
• Mentor colleagues and grow capability in the function.
