Job summary

Mother Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deliver and support robust network infrastructure in Aberdeen. You will work on private/public circuits, switching, routing and security appliances to ensure performance, security and reliability for clients across Scotland.

The role emphasizes routing fundamentals, VLANs, firewalling, VPNs, SD-WAN and QoS, with familiarity of Meraki, HPE Aruba, Cisco and DrayTek devices. A full driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of IP Addressing, Subnets, Routing & DNS.
• Theoretical knowledge and practical routing experience.
• Knowledge of standard industry routing protocols.
• Calm, logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Full Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Design, delivery and ongoing support of the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and Telecoms engineers to maintain performance and security.
• Ensure connectivity services across private and public circuits meet client needs.
