Network Engineer (Cyber Security / Oil & Gas)

Are you a Network Engineer with a background in cybersecurity or infrastructure looking to work for one of the world's biggest companies?

Do you want to work with a highly skilled team building robust, cutting-edge systems that help secure a multi-billion-pound business?

Join one of the world's largest companies, a leader in the Oil & Gas industry. This company has grown significantly over the past two decades and has achieved great success in the European and UK markets.

In this role, you will identify potential risks using penetration testing techniques and collaborate to reinforce and secure the network and infrastructure.

This role is suitable for someone experienced with large-scale systems, risk identification in networks, and working collaboratively with IT teams.

THE ROLE:

1. Design and implement strategic plans to ensure IT network security.
2. Monitor logs generated from SIEM & Sophos MTR tools.
3. Configure, maintain, and implement intrusion detection systems, firewalls, VPNs, web protocols, and email security.
4. Create and update Jira tickets regularly for ongoing work.

THE PERSON:

1. Background in Network Security.
2. Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
3. Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS.
4. Commutable to Central London.
