Hunter Bond seeks a seasoned Network Engineer to manage and enhance a global data network across trading floors, data centres and cloud environments. You will support BAU operations, architect network products, and implement secure, scalable designs with modern tooling.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls, Unix systems and advanced cloud networking in Azure and AWS, plus scripting using Python, Ansible and Terraform.

Formación

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in a financial institution or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Deep TCP/IP knowledge (CCNP level or equivalent).
• Strong Cisco switching and routing across data centre and enterprise (ACI, IOS-XE).
• Palo Alto next-gen firewall experience: policies, NAT, routing and log analysis.
• Working Unix operating system knowledge.
• Advanced Azure and AWS cloud networking.
• Python, Ansible and Terraform; REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

A global, technology-led trading firm with a hybrid estate spanning trading and colocation data centres, offices and public cloud. The Infrastructure team keeps those platforms running around the clock and continuously evolves them to stay ahead.

The Role

Overview

You’ll manage, support and enhance the firm’s global network, covering data networks, network security, advanced IP services and unified communications. The role sits within the wider Infrastructure Platform team, so you’ll also get exposure to Linux, storage, Windows and hypervisors.
