Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their innovative ICT Department. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team focused on providing integrated infrastructure solutions to high-hazard industries such as Oil & Gas and Energy. As a Network Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience in Cisco networking and cloud platforms to enhance secure network configurations and support the design of Local Area Networks. About the Role

Our client specializes in providing integrated infrastructure solutions. Following a sustained period of growth, they are currently looking to attract a Network Engineer to join their expanding and progressive ICT Department.

You will be joining a dynamic team of professionals who offer operations management, engineering services, and energy management solutions to companies in high-hazard industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, and Chemical.

Skills and Experience

1. Extensive experience in Cisco networking, including hands-on work with Cisco, Meraki, Check Point, Azure Cloud, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
2. Strong understanding of secure network configuration, including best practices for VLANs, QoS, scripting, maintenance, 802.1X, and other network security protocols.
3. Proven experience in the physical design and installation of Local Area Networks (LANs).
4. Skilled in the management and support of Wide Area Networks (WANs).
5. Ideally degree qualified or with relevant industry experience and/or certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP).
