A Design (RAN) Engineer is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.

Your new role

We have an opportunity for a RAN Engineer to join our client’s team.

Contract: until September 2025

• Location: Remote
• Hours: 40, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Require a full in-depth knowledge and understanding of LTE & 5G NR (NSA & SA) technologies.
• Prior experience working on Nokia RAN is preferable.
• Require an in-depth understanding of 4G/5G (NSA & SA) network architecture and software features.
• Require prior experience managing 4G/5G RAN parameters in live networks.
• Require experience handling software/hardware feature testing and trialling in testbed and live environments.
• Require advanced skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Require experience using network performance analytics tools like Mycom Proptima.
• Require advanced skills in drive test collection and analysis tools like TEMs and Accuver.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science-related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in RAN/Nokia design with a background in communications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and presenting technical workshops.
• Ability to make reasoned decisions based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies and RAN network functioning.
• Self-motivated, team player, with a dynamic approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with network administration and vendor management tools like NetAct is a plus.
