We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. Candidates will have excellent experience of Cisco-based routing and switching and experience of Palo Alto firewalls. This role can be undertaken on a remote basis; however, there will be the requirement to attend sites across Central and North Scotland.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with other IT professionals within the IT local and HQ teams to meet department goals
• Deliver comprehensive project documentation to support handover to operations

What to bring

• Extensive experience working in Network Engineer positions
• Proficiency in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting and a strong understanding of network security principles and practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred experience:
• Experience of Cisco-based routing and switching
• Experience of Palo Alto
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
