Location: Remote (M4 Corridor – Farnborough, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Slough)

We’re working with a leading Cisco Partner to hire a Network Engineer with the energy, confidence, and technical skillset to take on full project ownership — from design through to implementation. This is a hands-on engineering role with excellent flexibility to work from home, supporting customers across the M4 corridor.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Visiting customer datacentres and sites to deliver network projects
• Taking customer requirements and producing network designs
• Building, configuring, and implementing Cisco-based solutions
• Installing and configuring switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and a technical lead on-site

Tech You’ll Work With

• Cisco Catalyst & Nexus switching platforms
• Cisco Firepower, Meraki, and potentially Fortinet or Extreme Networks
• Projects covering datacentres, site-to-site connectivity, and core switching/routing infrastructure

Requirements

• CCNA to CCNP-level knowledge and experience
• Strong understanding of Cisco networking technologies
• Experience designing, building, and deploying solutions in live environments
• Must have your own car – mileage paid at 45p/mile
• Located within easy reach of the M4 corridor
• Bonus points for enthusiasm, initiative, and customer-facing confidence!
