Job summary

Reed Technology are working with a well-respected national organization based in Newcastle for a network engineer on a one-year fixed term contract. You will join a forward-thinking team with a passion for technology during a period of growth and technical investment.

We are seeking someone with a broad technical background who wants a career in networking, with experience across DNS, DHCP, routers, switching and firewalls, plus Windows Server technologies such as AD DS and Group Policy.

Qualifications

• Networking experience with DNS, DHCP, routers, switching and firewalls.
• At least 1 year in a similar networking role.
• Technical competence in Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, and related).
• Excellent time management to handle competing demands.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Networking background - DNS / DHCP / Routers / Switching / Firewalls
• A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
• Technical competence in the full stack of Microsoft Windows Server Technologies (Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy management, and general Windows Server technologies).
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands on their time.
