Account Manager and Recruitment Specialist

6-12 month contract

Location: Liverpool - Hybrid working - 2 days onsite per week

Role overview:

Weekend workdays will be required for this role: Saturday and Sunday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. An option for a different shift after 90 days may be available. In this role, you will ensure event management is handled efficiently using alert systems like BigPanda, taking ownership of alerts and troubleshooting them with the aid of Runbooks and SOPs. Basic knowledge in Splunk and Datadog complements your ability to analyze and monitor system performance. Understanding API concepts and applications enhances your technical capabilities. Your ITIL experience should cover Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management, ensuring adherence to best practices in IT service management.

What you'll be doing:

Demonstrate proficiency in ChatOps through Slack by creating channels, coordinating resources, and engaging with customers. Manage communication and collaboration among customer service representatives and high-level engineers to ensure seamless customer service. Assist with user account management and basic security tasks such as password unlocks, guiding users through creating tickets, and directing them to SOPs or Runbooks to resolve issues.

What we're looking for:

• ChatOps experience (Slack) - Creating channels, coordinating resources, engaging customers
• Customer service experience working with customer service reps and engineers
• Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA
• Knowledge of IP concepts, including subnetting
• Light Active Directory experience
• Basic security experience, including password unlocks and guiding users to create tickets
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Office suite)

Nice to Have:

• Streaming knowledge for gaming using MS Teams or similar applications
• Event management experience with alert systems like BigPanda, troubleshooting using Runbooks/SOPs
• Basic knowledge in Splunk and Datadog
• Basic understanding of API concepts and applications
• ITIL knowledge
• Preferred experience/education: 3-5 years relevant experience or a degree (BA, BS)
