Job summary

Ekco is seeking a Senior NetSuite Consultant to optimise NetSuite in IT services or distribution contexts. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, driving optimisation and growth across the ERP landscape.

Reporting to the Head of ERP Business Systems, you’ll lead requirements gathering, design, and implementation while ensuring security and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite functionality and customization.
  • Experience managing complex ERP projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, ISO, and data security in cloud ERP.

Responsibilities

  • Act as trusted advisor to clients, guiding system design, configuration and deployment.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
  • Champion change management to maximise user adoption and business value.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend NetSuite improvements leveraging its capabilities.
  • Identify automation opportunities within NetSuite and related processes.
  • Ensure ERP processes comply with data integrity, security and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
  • Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementations and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Consultant with deep expertise in Lead-to-Cash (LTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes alongside a solid understanding of financial processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and optimizing NetSuite solutions within IT services or distribution businesses. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business process knowledge, and client-facing consulting skills.

Day-to-Day at Ekco

As a Senior NetSuite Consultant reporting to the Head of ERP Business Systems, you will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our ERP environment. Your primary responsibilities include acting as the liaison between internal business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, and helping prioritize system improvements. You will analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for efficiency, and translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for NetSuite enhancements. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of NetSuite capabilities, and the ability to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure the ERP system supports growth, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through system design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Champion change management initiatives to maximise user adoption and business value.
Process Optimization & Innovation
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements leveraging NetSuite capabilities
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within NetSuite and related business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices for IT services sector.
  • Stay current with NetSuite releases and industry trends, proactively recommending innovative solutions.
Solution Design & Implementation
  • Configure NetSuite modules including Financials, Inventory, Procurement, and Order Management.
  • Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support testing, deployment & user training for new features & enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
Technical Expertise
  • Develop custom scripts, workflows, and integrations as needed.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and KPIs.
Security, Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure ERP processes comply with data integrity, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
  • Support internal and external audits related to ERP processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite functionality, workflows, and customization options.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex ERP projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in project management or working within Agile environments is a plus.
  • NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, Administrator) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and audit requirements in cloud ERP environments.
