Job summary

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Council is seeking a Decarbonisation and Sustainability Project Manager to lead the transformation of the Lancaster West Estate. The role focuses on delivering carbon-neutral social housing by 2030, including residents' engagement and heat-network delivery.

Based in the Borough three days a week, you will oversee budgets, governance and timelines while coordinating with engineers, contractors and funders to meet environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable hands-on experience plus PM capability.
• PRINCE2 or Agile project management qualifications are required.
• Strong analytical skills with data and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage high-impact decarbonisation projects across the estate.
• Drive sustainability initiatives including heat networks and retrofit programmes.
• Balance strategic oversight with practical delivery, manage budgets and timelines.
• Develop business cases, project plans, risk logs and governance reports.
• Secure funding and embed co-design with residents and partners.
