Job summary

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a Decarbonisation and Sustainability Manager to lead the Lancaster West Estate transformation, delivering carbon-neutral social housing by 2030 and engaging with residents on greener, warmer homes.

Based in the Borough for three days a week, you’ll oversee high-impact decarbonisation projects, secure funding, develop robust business cases, and build dashboards to track performance, while prioritising resident co-design.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable hands-on experience with project delivery.
• Recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2 or Agile).
• Strong analytical ability and clear reporting to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of scoping and managing high-impact decarbonisation projects across the estate.
• Develop robust business cases, project plans, risk logs and governance documents.
• Secure funding and build performance dashboards tracking carbon reductions.
• Embed resident co-design through surveys and interviews at every stage of delivery.
