Job summary

Fieldfisher is seeking a Climate & Environment Manager/Senior Manager to lead the firm’s climate strategy across European offices. The role focuses on delivering Net Zero objectives, measurable environmental action, and robust sustainability governance in a complex corporate environment.

You will work with Facilities, Procurement, Finance, HR and IT to turn climate ambition into practical business outcomes, with strong emphasis on data, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in climate change and environmental sustainability within a complex corporate environment.
• Experience in professional services, legal, financial services or similar sectors preferred.
• Knowledge of climate-related regulation and sustainability reporting across UK/Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead climate strategy implementation and decarbonisation roadmaps.
• Drive progress on emissions reduction across Scope 1–3.
• Lead environmental initiatives: energy, travel, waste, procurement, workplace sustainability.
• Manage GHG inventory, reporting and data quality.
• Support sustainability reporting including CDP, EcoVadis, ISO standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to improve environmental performance.
• Monitor climate regulatory developments and risks.
• Produce reports and dashboards for senior governance.
• Engage across European offices with communications and training.
• Act as trusted internal adviser on climate matters.
