Job summary

StarVale is seeking a hands-on .NET Web Developer to rewrite PHP sites in .NET, migrate to modern architecture, and integrate with core business systems. Based in Galgate, Lancaster, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

You will design and build ASP.NET Core websites, migrate Laravel/CodeIgniter sites, work with Umbraco, and contribute to architecture decisions through code reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core (or strong ASP.NET MVC with path to Core).
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Comfortable with HTML/CSS/JavaScript alongside server-rendered .NET views or Razor Pages.
• Experience migrating/integrating systems across platforms.
• Ability to read PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter) to translate functionality to .NET.
