Job summary
Newcastle Strategic Solutions Limited is seeking a Software Developer to support a planned rebuild of a strategic solution, covering a colleague on Family Leave for circa 9 months. You will develop, enhance and support software across the organisation, delivering high-quality code within Agile teams and translating business requirements into robust solutions.
You will work with stakeholders to define system requirements, assess changes, manage risks, and produce specifications.
Qualifications
- Strong programming and software design skills with Microsoft .NET.
- Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments is advantageous.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Experience in mid-level or senior development roles within Scrum/Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and support software solutions across the organisation.
- Deliver high-quality software and collaborate in Agile teams.
- Analyse business requirements, design and implement effective solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support and share knowledge with the team.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
